Virtual Professional Medical Coder Liaison

Job Summary

A healthcare revenue cycle management company has a current position open for a Virtual Professional Medical Coder Liaison.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Answering questions pertaining to coding from providers and clinical leaders
• Evaluating and addressing both clinical and financial concerns
• Providing guidance on billing/coding discrepancies

Required Skills:

• Active CCS-P, COC, CPC certifications
• Minimum of 3 years professional coding experience
• Extensive knowledge of official coding conventions and rules
• Extensive knowledge of government, and commercial payer guidelines
• Must be able to use standard office equipment and information systems
