Job Summary

A corporation providing research services to agencies of the U.S. Government is in need of a Virtual Public Health Senior Biostatistician.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Collaborating with external investigators in developing study aims and research hypotheses
  • Providing study design advice to investigators including assessment of appropriateness and feasibility
  • Estimating optimal sample size for the desired power

Required Skills:

  • PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Epidemiology or a related field of study
  • 6 years of experience
  • 3 years of health research experience
  • 3 years of advanced data analysis experience and analyzing research data using statistical packages
  • Experience with SAS, R and other statistical packages
