Job Summary
A travel company has a current position open for a Virtual Public Policy Senior Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying key policy issues and impactful legislation, and developing strategies for achieving best results
- Representing the company across a range of trade associations and industry groups
- Identifying, analyzing and prioritizing emerging policy issues and preparing appropriate responses
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Occasional travel as needed, representing the company in hearings, meetings and seminars as required - both public and private
- College degree required
- Excellent public speaker and presenter
- Proven management and leadership skills, including evidence of devising and successfully delivering significant projects
- Deep experience with the federal policymaking process, with a strong record of leading and delivering effective advocacy
- A significant track record within government, trade association, and/or corporation
