An online school of higher education needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Public Relations Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and leading public relations and communications strategies and tactics
- Creating engaging pitches for the media and bloggers
- Cultivating strong relationships with national, niche, and local media
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related relevant degree
- 8 years of relevant PR experience
- Experience with Cision or other media relations software desired
- Outstanding writing and editing experience and knowledge of AP style
- Strong experience working with national, local, and niche media
- Abilities and expertise in developing, executing, and leading public relations strategies
