Job Summary

A staffing agency is in need of a Virtual Ruby on Rails Back End Developer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Developing clean, efficient, reliable and maintainable Ruby code
  • Conducting Code Review
  • Identifying areas of improvement, bugs and design solutions to address them

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Strong experience with RSpec
  • Proficiency in software design patterns, code review, TDD etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL or RDBMS
  • Experience in writing SQL queries
  • Comfortable working with distributed systems
