Job Summary

An information services company is filling a position for a Virtual Ruby on Rails Full Stack Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading and participating in design sessions based on user requirements
  • Installing, upgrading, configuring, and maintaining multiple application environments
  • Researching and analyzing creative solutions to user requirements

Position Requirements Include:

  • 10 years of prior professional experience with application development and database design
  • Bachelor's degree required, candidates with Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred
  • Advanced level knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • 5 years advanced level experience in JavaScript / JQuery, Java, CSS, HTML, MySQL, Linux Shell Scripting and DevOps
  • Ruby on Rails Development experience - Advanced/Expert level - 8 years of experience
  • Current experience in or clear ability to follow through to become proficient in ElasticSearch
