Job Summary
YourTango Experts is a division of YourTango.com, specifically helping small business owners in the therapy, coaching, health, wellness, teaching, mentoring and consulting spaces market their businesses online. Our services is a membership with online and virtual teaching elements. Through both methods we educate our members on the skills (content marketing/ blogging, SEO etc) and tools necessary to drive both traffic and potential clients to their websites and businesses.
We are seeking a highly engaged and enthusiastic sales professional to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
Daily sales conversations (telephone and Skype for International calls) with prospective members to answer questions and sell them YourTango Experts membership.
Closed sales in increasing numbers after training is completed.
Engaged participation with sales manager during ongoing sales training (most of which happens over the phone and via recordings) including role-playing, exploring sales objections and practicing smart selling to our highly targeted audience.
Daily email correspondence with members and prospective members
Daily use of Google docs (word docs/basic excel) to track sales + track prospects
Strong verbal and writing skills
Lead generation experience
An eager, self-starting and engaged attitude
A well-oiled and highly functional home office complete with high-speed Internet, computer and phone.
Occasional travel to conferences and trade shows to interact directly with potential customers & promote our product--less than 10% of the year.
Our ideal candidate is a relationship-minded sales associate, who is open to learning about our platform, our target market, and is hungry to perform. You need to be comfortable asking for the close, and fostering relationships with a highly credentialed clientele.
Our chosen candidate must be a self-starter and motivated to perform. In addition, because we are in the relationship/health business, we ultimately want someone to join our team who is motivated to help our clients and make money. Intangible sales background
Proven track record of sales success
Effective relationship building & client retention skills
Builds rapport quickly and enjoys working with the public
A genuine interest in helping individuals realize their goals
Marketing experience, including social media tools and techniques
Stellar interpersonal and communication skills
A natural sense of urgency; ability to juggle many initiatives simultaneously while achieving sales objectives
Strong time management skills; self-reliant and motivated. Able to perform successfully on their own without requiring constant attention
A past history of working from home with a proven track record of efficiency via a home office
Successful background closing sales exclusively over the phone or Skype
