Job Summary
A medical coding service is seeking a Virtual Same Day Surgery Coding Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Work with the coding manager to ensure accurate and timely completion charts for multiple clients
- Use tools and platform to code charts accurately
- Ensure rules, guidelines and client’s expectations are being met
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must have Same Day Surgery experience of at least 3 years
- Must have Facility Outpatient experience of at least 3 years
- Must have current credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS
- Must have 3+ years of outpatient coding experience at an acute care facility
- Must be able to work from your home and have access to high speed Internet
- Own computer with a Windows Professional Based Operating System and dual monitors
