Job Summary

An accredited online university is in need of a Virtual School of Business Faculty Chair.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic insight and expertise in the development and delivery of programs
  • Supporting and enacting the strategic goals of the school
  • Collaborating with dissertation, residency and related functions within the university

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Solid record of participation in and/or leadership in local, regional, national, and/or international professional associations
  • Terminal/doctoral degree in business or a business related discipline from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning
  • Experience serving as dissertation mentor on business related dissertation committees
  • Experience in program management within an online academic setting, working with remote employees and business teams
  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a PhD program or business program, with experience in an online teaching environment and with adult, non-traditional learners
  • Evidence of scholarly research/publications
