Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Virtual Senior Accountant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports
- Reconciling, analyzing and reviewing general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close
- Preparing journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements
- Ability to assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
- Ability to identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
- Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
