Job Summary

An online retailer needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Senior Business Intelligence Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Improving data quality within their respective products and platforms
  • Identifying root causes of data issues and develop solutions
  • Reporting results in a manner which is both statistically rigorous and compellingly relevant

Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years of experience as an analyst or engineer in the data/BI space
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Advanced working knowledge of data mining using ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
