Job Summary
An information technology company is in need of a Virtual Senior Cloud System Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Implementing code and automation for cloud-based applications and microservices, both front and back end
- Collaborating with other developers and departments to ensure high quality software and timely delivery
- Participating in agile standups and perform code review
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining software applications in the AWS cloud
- 3+ years of experience in GoLang
- Experience in automating AWS infrastructure deployments with CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, etc
- Proficiency developing and consuming REST APIs
- Knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI or an equivalent CI tool
