Job Summary
A staffing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with and creating asynchronous APIs and protocols
- Working with over-the-wire data transfer
- Working with with Akka and Akka Cluster or equivalent
Position Requirements Include:
- 2+ years experience hands-on coding of a distributed system
- 2+ years experience reading and writing distributed data with or without a distributed database
- 5+ years of developing data centric applications in either java, javascript, scala, or C#
- Experience vetting new technologies and determining their applicability and risk for use in a given application.
- Experience with event sourcing, immutable data structures, immutable ledgers, pure functions, etc
