Virtual Senior Functional Safety Engineer

Job Summary

An integrated circuit design and embedded software firm has a current position open for a Virtual Senior Functional Safety Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Proposing and analyzing safety architecture and mechanisms
• Collaborating with the customer teams to implement processes and procedures and document the design elements required
• Collaborating on a variety of engineering services across all phases of the FuSa Life Cycle

Qualifications Include:

• Experience in conducting in-depth analysis of failure modes, and error detection and error reporting functionalities
• Experience in contributing to the development of functional safety architectures
• B.Sc. or BSEE/MSEE with 5 years of relevant working experience in safety case development
• Experience analyzing existing safety mechanisms with HW/SW design teams
• Experience developing Safety Goals/Requirements for Semiconductor components
