A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Senior Information Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Driving security initiatives with cross-functional groups
- Performing risk analysis of engineering initiatives and prioritizing projects requiring focused testing
- Assisting in the definition of end to end security architecture for production systems
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Minimum of three years of experience in a security role
- Experience in automating manual tasks with Python, Ruby or Perl
- Undergraduate or Master's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
- Experience installing, configuring and maintaining security systems
- Knowledge of a variety of real-world attack and mitigation types
- In-depth technical expertise in network defense technologies, forensic tools, and active defense technologies
