A multinational technology firm has an open position for a Virtual Senior Middleware Support Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Engaging and collaborating with open source developers around the world
  • Offering developer-to-developer assistance
  • Serving as a technical point of contact for middleware technologies within company

Position Requirements Include:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a technical support, development, engineering, or QA organization
  • Experience with JEE, CDI, JPA, REST, transactions in JMS, Maven, and Git
  • Experience with IBM WebSphere, Red Hat JBoss Middleware, Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, or OpenShift
  • Outstanding troubleshooting and debugging skills and passion for problem-solving and investigation
  • Ability and willingness to learn new open source middleware technologies
  • Clear and effective communications skills in English
