Job Summary
A staffing agency is in need of a Remote National Managed Care Medical Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing UM strategy and policy for all plans
- Managing other managed care directors
- Acting in a supporting role as medical manager and policy advisor
Qualifications for this position include:
- M.D. graduate of an accredited medical schoo
- Board certified in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine or primary care
- 4+ years experience as a physician reviewer performing peer review activities
- Strong understanding of all aspects of managed care
