Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Virtual Senior Operations Production Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing in-depth technical support for various third-party MVS applications
- Ensuring the proper functioning of these applications
- Supporting and configuring the third-party applications for use in our MVS system and application environment
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 10 years current experience with MVS JCL, PROCS, PDS, VSAM, etc.
- Advanced understanding and experience with IBM MVS/JES operating environment and utilities, IDCAMS, DF/HSM, etc.
- Working knowledge of MVS system internals
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, IBM 3270 terminal emulation
- Self-motivated and able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments, vendors, etc.
- Must take off-hours support calls and weekend support
