Virtual Senior Privacy Counsel

Job Summary

A global risk management company is seeking a Virtual Senior Privacy Counsel.

Must be able to:

• Daft, review and negotiate data processing agreements per direct supervision of the AVP and International Privacy Officer
• Advise company personnel on routine legal issues, trends, and risks per data processing agreements
• Consult with the AVP and International Privacy Officer and Legal to determine impact and risk

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience, in a law firm or corporate law department
• Juris Doctor (JD) required; Current license to practice law in a US jurisdiction
• Able to monitor and analyze emerging privacy and data protection guidance
• Ability to evaluate complex legal and regulatory issues and recommend solutions
• Able to monitor and analyze emerging privacy and data protection guidance
• Ability to handle a diverse set of issues and provide a high level of customer service
