A software company is in need of a Virtual Senior Software Engineer in Seattle.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Writing well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
  • Designing, building, documenting, and maintaining APIs, services, and systems
  • Participating actively in code reviews to ensure quality and distribute knowledge

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or commensurate technical experience
  • 4+ years of experience developing commercial software
  • 2+ years prior experience in a DevOps culture for Cloud-based software solutions
  • Proficiency in at least one strongly-typed programming language
  • Experience with a least one weakly-typed programming language
  • Advanced understanding of RDBMS databases; ideally, PostgreSQL
