Job Summary

A real estate technology company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Spark Data Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Design, architect, build and maintain big data infrastructure and tools
  • Write reliable and efficient programs
  • Data qualification, verification and validation

Qualifications Include:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years full lifecycle software development experience in data engineering
  • Strong hands-on expertise with building ETL pipelines
  • Strong hands-on expertise with building scalable web services and APIs
  • Programming proficiency in Go and Scala
  • Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Spark query tuning and performance optimization
