Job Summary

A staffing agency is filling a position for a Virtual Senior Windows Systems Engineer in Arlington.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze and monitor server workload, capacity and performance
  • Upgrade and deploy Windows servers
  • Diagnose and resolve server problems

Position Requirements Include:

  • 14 years or more of professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Domain knowledge and customer intimacy with the Air Force customer and the GCSS AF solution set
  • Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience
  • Experience working with DoD customers on large scale enterprise contracts
  • Experience managing Active Directory, Internet Information Server, System Center Operations Manager, System Center Configuration Manager, or SQL Server
