Job Summary

A consulting firm needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Senior Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Investigating, negotiating and settling workers compensation claims
• Preparing claims for settlement and negotiate settlement with best outcome
• Implementing appropriate procedures to minimize client’s exposure

Required Skills:

• High school diploma
• NY license in workers’ compensation
• Minimum 5 years experience working lost time claims in workers’ compensation
• Familiarity with state and federal workers’ compensation laws and regulations
• Ability to investigate, set loss reserves, and settle claims by determining compensability
• Strong customer service skills with multiple levels of reporting
