Job Summary
A nonprofit global research organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Senior Writer Editor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Writing and editing a variety of materials
- Writing and editing content for website and blog
- Helping manage and refine external editorial voice and manage workflow
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 7 years of full-time professional experience as a writer and/or editor
- Master's degree in journalism, international relations, or related field
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Proven track record publishing commentaries and articles on leading media outlets
- Superlative organizational skills and understanding of how to juggle multiple projects
- Understanding of environmental, international development, and sustainability issues
