Job Summary
A tech-powered media company has a current position open for a Virtual Senior Writer Editor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Writing multiple stories per day in high-volume, results-driven newsroom
- Sharing ideas for stories with the senior editorial team
- Managing writers as needs arise or filling in as the slot lead
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- At least 2-5 years of experience as a Writer/Editor, Senior Writer, Senior Editor, or similar
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of stories
- Your own system of organization that enables you to maintain and keep track of multiple concurrent work streams
- A reasonable command of AP style
- Solid proficiency in both Google Suite
