Job Summary

An IT company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Site Reliability Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting
  • Design, write and deliver software
  • Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards and methods

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond
  • Systematic problem solving approach
  • Familiarity with running web services at scale
  • Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) technology stacks
