An online events platform company has an open position for a Virtual Software Performance Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Automate software performance tests and analyze results
- Build a deep understanding of the scalability and performance of the company's systems
- Work closely with other groups of engineers to solve scale and performance problems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of performance engineering experience working on distributed systems
- Demonstrable experience learning new technologies
- Extensive experience running performance tests against systems
- Extensive experience organizing and sharing performance results
- Experience creating and maintaining complex test data and load testing environments
- Experience in automated load testing frameworks
