Job Summary
A remote therapy and education company is seeking a Virtual South Dakota Licensed School Special Education Teacher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing instruction and support to students with disabilities in a remote learning environment
- Monitoring student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies and goals
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and communication with parents and other professionals
Qualifications for this position include:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with the IEP process and special education laws and regulations
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a remote learning environment
- Valid South Dakota teaching certification in Special Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and accommodations for students with diverse needs
