Job Summary

A non-profit healthcare system is seeking a Virtual Spiritual Care Assistant Vice President.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Establishing a clear strategic vision for transformed delivery model(s) of Spiritual Care into the future
  • Ensuring ongoing development and implementation of a workforce plan
  • Advancing and prioritizing the spiritual care needs of associates across all of Ascension

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's level education
  • 5+ years of leadership (Catholic health care strongly recommended)
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering commitment to supporting and promoting the Catholic identity of the organization
  • Must be able to operate effectively in a collaborative, matrixed, shared leadership environment
  • Must demonstrate: an advanced working understanding of the Catholic Church and its traditions
  • An appreciation of the Catholic Church's structures and laws
