Job Summary
A teletherapy company has an open position for a Virtual Teacher for the Visually Impaired in Waco.
Must be able to:
- Assist resource teacher
- Provide adaptive equipment instruction
- Facilitate IEP meetings
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have a teaching certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired in Texas
- Comfortable working remotely
- Able to liaison between parents, teachers, ophthalmologist, and the community
- Ability to provide orientation and mobility instruction in addition to daily living skills
