Job Summary
A provisioner of scientific instrumentation has a current position open for a Virtual Technical Writer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the software engineering team to gather information
- Create new and update existing content for product user documentation and eLearning material
- Contribute to the development and implementation of documentation standards across the product portfolio
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Chemistry or related field
- Minimum of 2+ years as a technical author in a software development environment
- Experience in writing instructional, training or presentation material in a scientific environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft® Windows® platforms
- SaaS and PaaS software delivery models, JIRA and Confluence, Adobe Captivate, Mad Cap Flare, etc
- Flexible and proactive with the ability to work in an environment of constant change
