Job Summary
A software development and cybersecurity company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Technical Writer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Planning, creating, and maintaining customer-facing UI and API developer documentation
- Maintaining up-to-date API documentation, developer articles, and release notes
- Assessing existing documentation to proactively identify and address gaps
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience testing and documenting REST APIs
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Writer (or equivalent)
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Professional and Technical Writing (or related field/degree)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform multiple time-sensitive projects of varied size and scope
- Experience documenting complex workflows and UI-based applications
