Job Summary
A smart home products retailer is filling a position for a Virtual Technical Writer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing proofreading and editing support to various cross functional teams
- Writing and editing technical documents including user manuals and quick start guides
- Gathering feedback from internal cross-functional teams to improve technical documents
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, or related field required
- Three years of related experience required
- Excellent writing and grammatical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated success working with sales, product, engineers, customer service and marketing teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe creative suite, Agile, Jira, and other related software
