Job Summary

A technical services firm is seeking a Virtual Technical Writer III.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Converts Technical Manuals (TMs) to formats necessary to produce an Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM)
  • Develops, writes, and edits materials for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs and related  publications
  • Interviews production and engineering personnel

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors + 12 years experience
  • Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of education on a 1.5 to 1 year basis
  • Experience as a technical writer of military specifications, standards, and technical manuals
  • Experience in working on instructions/directives for aircraft preferred
