We have positions open for transcribers.
Work from the comfort of your own home transcribing television shows, interviews, focus groups.
If you have the ability to listen to busy video/audio and transcribe it word for word, this would be the perfect opportunity for you.
You will need to distinguish between different speakers and transcribe what they are saying among the background noise and overlapping conversations.
You should be knowledgeable in plugging in the start timecode into your transcription software. We do have a training video available for this step.
Hours are flexible, but we are in need of weekenders.
Your transcription skills and your ability to type and listen to the spoken word is essential.

**A word of note: As an IC (independent contractor) you are hired on a project to project basis. We cannot guarantee a minimum of work. There are days that we may have more work than transcribers signed up and other days where we have more transcribers than work available. We need to have a steady, successful team on hand not only for our busy seasons but for future anticipated projects.
We welcome beginner transcribers to apply, however, the work may be a difficult task to undertake. This is challenging work.
The rate of pay is equivalent to $15.00 - $33.00 per hour depending on your Transcription Turnaround Time (TAT)
