Job Summary
A travel company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Travel Consultant II.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Being the primary point of contact for the customer, searching, and confirming travel reservations for the customer
- Providing active travel consultation towards the business customers and up-selling of related product while providing travel details
- Assisting team members while working independently on requests, while supporting client driven initiatives
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the travel industry
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and processes
- Knowledgeable of travel industry systems (i.e. GDS)
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated professional customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, working independently, exercising discretion and judgment
