Job Summary

A university has an open position for a Virtual University Instructional Designer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Applying tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods for corporate training
• Designing and developing courses using formats such as HTML, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.
• Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer

Required Skills:

• BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar
• Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
• Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
• Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
• Proficiency with instructional technology such as HTML, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.
• Intermediate MS Office Suite knowledge
