Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Veteran Affairs Outpatient Surgery Medical Coder.

Must be able to:

• Assign ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes as appropriate
• Abstract pertinent information from patient records

Required Skills:

• Must hold at least one: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H
• Two years of Veteran Affairs coding experience
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals
• Computer proficiency required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
