Job Summary

A company is looking for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired for a 100% virtual position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to determine students' educational needs and goals
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students' abilities and goals
• Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students through virtual platforms

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification in South Dakota
• Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience working as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
• Proficiency in using virtual teaching platforms and technology
• Compassionate and patient approach to working with students with visual impairments
