Virtualization Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtualization Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level EUC solutions with a focus on virtualization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize VDI and end-user computing environments
• Deploy endpoint protection technologies and safeguard client identity systems
• Define project scope, manage deployments, and enforce change control procedures to meet budget and timelines

Qualifications, Requirements & Preferred Skills

• Strong experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies: VMware vSphere, ESXi, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop, Horizon, Hyper-V
• Experience with endpoint protection technologies and identity security systems
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and Microsoft Certified: Windows Client or Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
