Job Summary

Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the full-time Visit Eligibility Coordinator will manage medical insurance verification for patient accounts, determining eligibility and benefits while working remotely from home.

Key responsibilities:
  • Verify patient eligibility and benefits six days prior to appointments, including deductibles and co-pays
  • Communicate with patients regarding insurance issues and assist in setting up payment plans for outstanding balances
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Required qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Five years of insurance experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Centricity
  • Strong understanding of insurance policies and processes
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
