Visiting Assistant Professor of Teaching

Job Summary

Offering a full-time, benefits-eligible position, the Visiting Assistant Professor of Teaching will provide instruction in online EdM and hybrid EdD courses, advise doctoral candidates on their applied dissertation projects, and develop curriculum for a newly redesigned EdM program, with the opportunity for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and mentor graduate students on applied dissertation projects and serve on doctoral committees
• Teach courses in doctoral and/or Master's programs, promoting experiential learning for diverse student backgrounds
• Engage in research activities that enhance educational program delivery and contribute to the field of higher education

Required Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in higher education, educational leadership, adult education, or a closely related field
• At least three years of experience teaching Master's and/or doctoral level courses as the instructor of record
• Demonstrated ability to advise Ed.D. students on applied dissertation projects
• Experience in developing curriculum in adult education or higher education
• Record of working with underrepresented groups in higher education
