Visiting Professor of Adult Education

Job Summary

To support a dynamic Adult & Higher Education program, the full-time Visiting Professor of Adult Education will provide instruction in online and hybrid courses, advise doctoral candidates on dissertation projects, and develop curriculum for a newly redesigned EdM program while engaging in research and service activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach courses and mentor graduate students in applied dissertation projects
• Develop curriculum for the EdM program and engage in scholarship related to educational program delivery
• Provide service to the Adult and Higher Education program and related professional organizations

Required Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in higher education, educational leadership, adult education, or a closely related field
• At least three years of experience teaching Master's and/or doctoral level adult education or higher education courses
• Demonstrated ability to advise Ed.D. students on applied dissertation projects
• Experience in developing curriculum in adult education or higher education
• Record of working with underrepresented groups in higher education
