Visiting Professor of Practice

Job Summary

To support a growing Adult & Higher Education program, the full-time Visiting Professor of Practice will provide instruction in online EdM and hybrid EdD courses, advise doctoral candidates on dissertation projects, and develop curriculum for a newly redesigned program, with the option for remote or hybrid work.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and mentor graduate students on applied dissertation of practice projects and serve on doctoral committees
• Teach courses in doctoral and/or Master's programs, focusing on experiential learning and diverse student success
• Engage in research activities that enhance educational program delivery and contribute to the field of higher education or adult education

Required Qualifications

• Earned Master's in higher education, educational leadership, adult education, or a closely related field
• At least three years of experience teaching Master's and/or doctoral level courses as the instructor of record
• Demonstrated ability to advise Ed.D. students on applied dissertation of practice projects
• Experience developing curriculum in adult education or higher education
• Record of working with underrepresented groups in higher education
