VistA/MUMPS Sustainment Expert
Job Summary
Providing expert guidance on VistA and MUMPS-based application sustainment, the full-time remote VistA/MUMPS Sustainment Subject Matter Expert will analyze and resolve defects, incidents, and service requests while supporting production issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze, triage, and resolve VistA defects, incidents, and production issues
- Perform root cause analysis and develop defect resolution plans
- Support Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support, including incident prioritization and resolution planning
Required qualifications
- Significant hands-on experience with VistA sustainment and operations
- Strong knowledge of MUMPS programming and VistA technical architecture
- Experience with VistA routines, FileMan, and data dictionaries
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve production defects in legacy systems
- Experience with Tier 2/Tier 3 support and defect management processes
