Job Summary
Providing expert technical leadership, the remote VistA/MUMPS Sustainment Expert will manage production support for VistA-based applications, focusing on defect resolution, root cause analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical guidance for VistA and MUMPS based application sustainment
- Analyze, triage, and resolve VistA defects, incidents, service requests, and production issues
- Perform root cause analysis across application code, data, configuration, workflows, and environments
Required Qualifications
- Significant hands-on experience with VistA application sustainment and MUMPS programming
- Proven experience diagnosing and resolving production defects in legacy or mission-critical applications
- Experience with Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support, incident triage, and defect management
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and production issue resolution
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
