Job Summary
Providing technical leadership and production support for VistA based applications, the remote VistA/MUMPS Sustainment Expert will analyze and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain mission-critical healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical guidance for VistA and MUMPS based application sustainment
- Analyze, triage, and resolve VistA defects, incidents, service requests, and production issues
- Develop and review defect resolution plans, including remediation approaches and testing strategies
Required Qualifications
- Significant hands-on experience with VistA application sustainment and MUMPS programming
- Proven experience diagnosing and resolving production defects in legacy or mission-critical applications
- Experience with Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support and incident triage
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and production issue resolution
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
