VistA/MUMPS Sustainment Expert
Job Summary
Providing technical leadership and production support for VistA-based applications, the remote VistA/MUMPS Sustainment Expert will analyze and resolve defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain mission-critical healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical guidance for VistA and MUMPS based application sustainment
- Analyze, triage, and resolve VistA defects, incidents, service requests, and production issues
- Perform root cause analysis across application code, data, configuration, workflows, interfaces, and environments
Required Qualifications:
- Significant hands-on experience with VistA application sustainment, operations, maintenance, or modernization
- Strong knowledge of MUMPS programming and VistA technical architecture
- Proven experience diagnosing and resolving production defects in legacy or mission-critical applications
- Experience with Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
