Job Summary
Providing expert technical leadership and production support for VistA based applications, the remote VistA/MUMPS Sustainment Expert will analyze and resolve defects, incidents, and service requests while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain reliable healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical guidance for VistA and MUMPS based application sustainment
- Analyze, triage, and resolve VistA defects, incidents, and production issues
- Perform root cause analysis and develop defect resolution plans
Required Qualifications:
- Significant hands-on experience with VistA application sustainment and MUMPS programming
- Proven experience diagnosing and resolving production defects in legacy applications
- Experience with Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and structured software delivery processes
