Visual Interpreter

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Visual Interpreter will provide live, personalized support to blind and low vision customers by accurately presenting on-demand visual information during video calls while maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to strict privacy standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Clearly and accurately present on-demand visual information to customers
• Consistently answer scheduled calls while maintaining punctuality and attendance
• Engage with team members and contribute to organizational growth through participation in team-building exercises

Required qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Fluent in English with strong vocabulary and descriptive language skills
• Legal right to work and presence in the United States or Canada
• Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps with a private workspace free from background noise
